RRFC have made the sad decision not to hold our annual fireworks night this month. The committee spoke to a number of key contributors, such as the firework display team, St Johns Ambulance and Cadets as well as canvassing internal members and volunteers.

Unfortunately the COVID restrictions and high possibilities of not having sufficient manpower to facilitate the event in a safe and controlled manner meant that we made the undesirable decision not to go ahead.

We note that Brockham and a number of other established firework nights have also made the same decision.

We will be back next year. We have been the second best fireworks night in the area after Brockham for a number of years now and we are not going to cancel again unless we really have to.
