It was another great weekend for Reigate rugby club, this time with the Mini's section taking centre stage in the headlines.
The Under 12s once again showed their capacity to win under adversity away at Cobham. Even though they had to borrow a few players from Weybridge they managed to win against Cobham Tigers, Leopards and Lions. Winning 20-0, 15-10 and 15-0 respectively.
Not to be outdone, the under 11’s also had a great day winning all of their three matches against Weybridge Vandals (5-4), Warlingham A’s (7-2) and Weybridge B’s (12-2).
Finally the under in 9s - in their first contact playing with contact no less - came out on top in all three of their matches as well. Beating Warlingham 10-4, Old Cats 10-7 and Dorking 8-7.
It's really been a great start to the season across the Junior section of the club, with Drew Youd stating "once again we've shown the ability to punch above our weight when it comes to sheer determination and effort. I am very proud of all our young players and hope that they can take the positives out of these matches and the learning and go forward to have a great season. Well done all."
